Copolyamide
The copolyamide series ROWALIT™ 200 is mainly applied in the apparel industry as hotmelt adhesive. They cover a melting range of 80-135°C.
Copolyamides are characterized by good adhesion properties on different substrates. Furthermore, they offer good wash- and dry cleaning resistance. Some grades provide steam resistance too.
The above mentioned good properties are upgraded in paste through the usage of plasticizer. This is favourable for further processing and fixation.
Cross-linkable copolyamides are especially interesting for double-dot coating and technical laminates. A duraplastic bonding is achieved through an adjustable cross-linking process.
