Coatings with High-Density-Polyethylene provide excellent washing resistance. Therefore it is preferably applied in apparel segments that are frequently washed, ie. collar- or shirt cuffs.

The HDPE series ROWALIT® N covers usually a melting range of 125-135°C and provides better chemical resistance than LDPE.

Further application examples are:

  • Carpet industrie (carpet backing)
  • Automotive (floor units, trunk trim, headliner)
  • Medical items (hot wash)
